Where Are You At?
Unless you competed at elite level sports, arts, martial arts or had a previous career as a Navy SEAL, most of us never received mental training throughout our education. The image below shows the common characteristics of an untrained mind dealing as best it can with life and stress. Much of the time, a mind of this nature is stuck in Autopilot and repeating UnWise patterns of thinking and behaving. This gobbles up time and energy, distracts us from what matters most and leaves us feeling worn out and unsatisfied.
There’s got to be a better way.

The image below shows what a trained mind looks like. Much of the time, a mind of this nature is more fully in a Mindful state, more fully in the present, far more intentional in its choices and able to access more skillful thinking and behaviours that are grounded in Wisdom and Virtue.
Most of us have developed some of these characteristics as we have grown and matured. And yet most of us can also see how we would be more effective and happier if we were able to operate more fully, and more consistently, from a mindful and wise state.
